Lisa Thai is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston. As a Katy native who has lived in the community her entire life, she is passionate about serving the individuals and families who call the area home.
Lisa brings several years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum and supporting their social, behavioral, and communication development. She also has a background in hospital and clinical settings, which has shaped her understanding of the relationship between physical and mental health.
As a first-generation Vietnamese American, Lisa is particularly interested in working with adolescents, young adults, and individuals from multicultural and immigrant backgrounds who may be navigating life transitions, cultural identity, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and family expectations. She is passionate about helping clients develop a stronger sense of self, find their voice, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and authenticity.
