Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in Texas and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Houston, along with a post-master’s certification in addiction counseling. She has extensive experience working collaboratively with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and anxiety. She also works with concerns like codependency, self-acceptance, and boundary setting. Her clinical approach is person-centered and primarily draws from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and solution-focused interventions.
She also has experience working with the families of neurodiverse individuals, as well as people from diverse communities, including ethically non-monogamous (ENM) families, LGBTQ+, secular, nonreligious, and minority faith communities. She has also worked with individuals in recovery, including those who pursue 12-step programs and those who prefer alternative approaches. She works closely with individuals to support their journey and navigate the world around them with confidence and resilience.
