Gabriella Curran is a graduate student at Walden University, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. With a deep passion for emotional wellness, she brings meaningful experience working with individuals across all ages and backgrounds.
Gabriella’s professional interests include supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s various transitions and challenges. Her goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients can explore their experiences, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their strengths.
Coming from a Hispanic background, Gabriella holds deep respect for culture, identity, and faith, and she recognizes the essential role these elements play in shaping one’s emotional world. She is committed to culturally responsive care that honors each client’s unique story.
Gabriella is not a registered play therapist and does not offer play therapy as a clinical modality. However, she may incorporate play-informed, art-informed, or sand tray activities to enhance the therapeutic process and meet clients at their developmental level. Especially for younger clients who express themselves best through creativity and movement. She also enjoys helping adults navigate life transitions, stress, anxiety, and identity-related struggles.
Through her academic training and hands-on experience, Gabriella continues to develop a compassionate, client-centered, and holistic approach to counseling that meets clients where they are and empowers them on their path toward healing.
