April Nenjerama, Practicum Student, LeTourneau University

Everyone has a story to tell and sometimes our stories include heartache, pain, anger, frustration, sadness, guilt, hurt, and loss. April understands that life can throw curve balls our way that we are not always prepared to handle. She strives to provide a safe place for her clients to share their stories. She desires to walk with her clients with grace and humility which she believes leads to the client’s ultimate healing.

She also wants to help clients identify thoughts and actions that are not helpful in their lives to work towards change to help them reach their goals.  She uses a client-centered approach from a holistic point of view incorporating mind, body, and spirit. She is trained from a family systems perspective. She uses a variety of techniques to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client Centered Therapy. She graduated from LeTourneau University with a B.S. is Psychology and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Counseling-LMFT track from LeTourneau University. She is a Practicum Student and is supervised by David Bueno Martin, MA, LPC-S.
